Establishing uplink
Find four groups of four. Select four items and submit a connection. Select one item to scan its archive card.
Each assignment starts with four reserve units. A new scan diverts one unit to Sensors. An incorrect submission takes one offline. Drag a unit to Sensors or use Scan. Purchased scans reopen freely.
At zero reserve, auxiliary sensors activate and play continues. Scans are free and reveal the item’s group color. Incorrect submissions reveal only those four items’ group colors. That attempt earns no assignment credit.
The small squares in your reading history show how many items belonged together. Before auxiliary sensors activate, the clusters are anonymous and sorted by size: they do not identify which words match. After activation, colors follow the words in submission order. Use a reading’s accessible description for its result.
Finish every group to advance. Four assignments unlock the next destination. A hollow route marker means an assisted visit; replay it to earn credit. Your best credit is kept.
Arrow keys move through the board. Space selects, Enter submits four selections, and Escape clears. Tab reaches every control. Travel can be skipped and respects reduced-motion settings.
